Athletes converge on Kincardine for Legion District C track and field meet

The weather was perfect Saturday as athletes from across District C of the Royal Canadian Legion competed at the track and field meet held at the Davidson Centre track.

Besides the track events, the meet included running long jump, triple jump, discus, javelin, shot put, and high jump. Competitors came from as far away as Kitchener, Waterloo and Guelph, as well as Lucknow, Wingham and Teeswater, and points in between.

The top athletes will move on to the provincial meet, slated for July 3-4 in London.
