Household hazardous waste day held in Kincardine
The Bruce County household hazardous waste collection day drew a long line-up of vehicles to the public works yard in the Town of Kincardine, Saturday, May 9.
People were pleased to dispose of a variety of hazardous waste, such as paint, oil, batteries chemicals, fertilizer, and other items that are too hazardous to be disposed of at the landfill.
The Kincardine Lions Club assisted Kerri Meier of the county highways department, in accepting the waste and putting it in barrels to be hauled away.
