(TARA, ON) – May 3, at 12:07 p.m., the South Bruce OPP received the report of a three-vehicle crash on Yonge Street North in Tara.
Officers arrived to find that a silver Chevrolet Cruze had backed out of a driveway and struck a white Ford F150 pick-up truck. The truck then struck a grey Chevrolet Impala that was parked on Yonge Street North. The driver of the Cruze, an 86-year-old Arran-Elderslie Township woman, was charged with fail to yield right of way. There were no injuries reported at the scene.
SOUTH BRUCE MAN IDENTIFIED AS VICTIM IN FATALITY
(CARRICK TWP, ON) – A South Bruce man has been identified as the victim in a two-vehicle fatality, Friday evening, May 1, at the intersection of Bruce County Road 28 and Huron-Bruce Road in Carrick Township.
William REUBER, 64, was driving a green Chevrolet Camaro southbound on Bruce County Road 28 when it was struck by a white International stake truck that was westbound on Huron-Bruce Road. The driver of the truck, 55-year old Ralph KREUTZWISER of Huron-Kinloss Township, was charged with fail to yield.
REUBER, of South Bruce municipality, was pronounced dead at the scene. The passenger in the Camaro was taken to hospital for treatment of non-life- threatening injuries.

LAW ENFORCEMENT TORCH RUN FOR SPECIAL OLYMPICS
(SOUTH BRUCE COUNTY, ON) – The South Bruce OPP is pleased to announce it is joining police officers from across North America supporting Special Olympians with the Law Enforcement Torch Run.
Wednesday, May 20, there will be two torch run events in southern Bruce County.
At 10 a.m., the torch run will start at Quinn Plaza and run to Victoria Park in Kincardine.
At 11 a.m., the torch run athletes will be running laps around the track at the Walkerton District Community School located on Yonge Street South in Walkerton.
Supporters are encouraged to attend the planned route and cheer on the runners as they pass by.
