Bruce Power donates $15,000 to help Kinetic Knights get to FIRST world championships
Bruce Power has donated $15,000 toward the cost for the Kinetic Knights Robotics Team 781 of Kincardine to attend the FIRST (For Inspiration and Recognition of Science and Technology) world championships in St. Louis, Missouri, this weekend.

The team left Tuesday night and arrived in St. Louis Wednesday, with qualifying matches and finals running Thursday through Saturday. The Kinetic Knights return home Sunday.

Monday night, the Society of Energy Professionals also presented $5,000 to the Kinetic Knights; plus, a cheque for $1,899.64 was presented as proceeds from the Button Drive at the Port Elgin Wal-Mart store.
