Dunes along boardwalk are protected and natural, says reader

To the Editor:
RE: “Kincardine needs quality paved pathways for foot traffic, says reader”

It would be nice to have dedicated bike paths and walkway, as per Rick Orr’s letter to the editor.

However, remember that the dunes and “overgrowth” are protected and natural, and they protect the beaches from erosion.  

Don’t cut the trees down to see the forest - the “view,” not just Lake Huron.  

In addition, thank you to the citizens who created the gardens along the boardwalk, and who pull the weeds, hammer in a few nails, and sweep the boardwalk.
