Team Alcombrack wins Division A of the Professional Shuffleboard League

Team Alcombrack, consisting of Cathy Alcombrack and Doug Kennedy, has defeated Team MacKay to win Division A of the Professional Shuffleboard League (PSL). The final match was played May 24 at the Kincardine Legion.

This is the PSL's third year, with 32 players on 16 teams. League members play once a week, either Wednesdays or Thursdays, from early September to mid-May. Each match is a two-out-of-three format.

The revenue generated from this league more than justifies keeping the shuffleboard. Last summer, the board was refinished by Gord Close in Owen Sound, and he did a tremendous job!

Team Lauzon won Division B; Team Carson won Division C; and Team Farrell won Division D.
