Four people charged in Brockton drug raid
(BROCKTON, ON) – Nov. 10, the OPP Organized Crime Enforcement Bureau – Drug Enforcement Unit, assisted by the Tactics and Rescue Unit, West Region Emergency Response Team, South Bruce OPP, and Hanover Police, executed a Controlled Drugs and Substances Act (CDSA) search warrant at a residence on Cardinal Street, in the Municipality of Brockton.

As a result, police seized methamphetamine, heroin, fentanyl, morphine, cocaine, cannabis marijuana, and cannabis resin. The estimated, combined street value of the seized controlled substances is $30,000.

Police also seized offence-related property that consisted of drug trafficking paraphernalia, cash, one prohibited weapon, ammunition, an expandable baton, two replica pellet pistols, a stolen motorcycle, and a stolen IPad.

Four Brockton residents were arrested and charged with the following offences:

  • 4(1) CDSA Possession of cannabis resin (liquid).
  • 4(1) CDSA Possession of cannabis marihuana over 30g
  • 4(1) CDSA Possession of cocaine (crack)
  • 7(1) CDSA Production of cannabis resin
  • 91(2) CC Possession of a prohibited weapon (push dagger knife)
  • 145(3) CC fail to comply with recognizance x 6
  • 354(1) (a) Possession of property obtained by crime x 2

The accused were held in custody pending the result of bail hearings.
