News from Sacred Heart High School in Walkerton
Sacred Heart High School recently held its Academic Achievement Celebration. This celebration takes place twice a year and recognizes those students who are achieving at the highest levels.
The following students earned highest achievement awards:
- Amelia Arciszewski, Grade 9
- Katrina Jaszkul, Grade 10
- Courtney Wilken, Grade 11
- Kathryn Low, highest scale score on the Ontario Secondary School Literacy Test

In other school news, Rachael Rier, a Grade 12 student, recently competed at the OFSAA girls golf championship.
After two days of competition, Rachael finished 23rd among 110 competitors, with a score of 164. She will be heading to the United States to pursue a golf scholarship in September, 2017. Congratulations, Rachael!

Congratulations to the Sacred Heart High School boys hardball team. The boys went 5-0 throughout the fall and then captured the BAA title. Way to go, players and coaches.!
