TD Bank Group donates more than $25,000 to Kincardine hospital foundation
The TD Bank Group has donated $25,473 to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation.
The presentation was made Thursday afternoon at the Kincardine branch, with manager Michael Wright and several staff members, handing the cheque to foundation vice-president Becky Fair and directors Maureen Ross and Jim Bagshaw.

The money will go toward a much-needed Beckman DXH Automated Hematology cell counter which will replace the current analyzer and greatly improve the laboratory's efficiency and turn-around times for complete blood counts, said foundation co-ordinator Diane Baldwin.
The blood test, CBC, is ordered routinely on many individuals and is an integral part of patient assessment. The new DXH will better meet the needs of an ever-expanding laboratory science.

Wright said the donation is part of the TD Bank Group's Western Ontario Region capital funding program to assist smaller communities.

Michael Wright (C), manager of the TD Bank Group, Kincardine branch, is joined by Jaymie Meyer (R), financial service rep.; Melissa Bradley, manager of customer service; Jennifer Thompson and Michael White, financial service reps.; and Sue Weissenboeck, customer service rep.; in presenting a cheque for $25,473, to the Kincardine and Community Health Care Foundation, represented by directors Maureen Ross (L) and Jim Bagshaw, and vice-president Becky Fair
