Welcome to the Kincardine Record, the area's newest locally-owned and locally-operated on-line news source.
Launched Dec. 16, this new venture will bring you the news, sports, features and more, from Kincardine, Tiverton, Ripley and Lucknow and the surrounding area, in a user-friendly, easy-to-read format. The goal is to provide information as quickly and accurately as possible so our readers know what's happening in their community.
The Record is owned and operated by Liz Dadson who has lived in Kincardine for the past 20 years, working at the Kincardine Independent and later for the Shoreline Beacon and the Kincardine Times. A journalist for almost 30 years, she has also worked in other communities and has a wealth of experience at reporting, writing and photography.
Thanks to the support of local advertisers, faithful readers, family, friends and neighbours, and a tremendous web designer and developer, the Kincardine Record is off to a good start.
