Readers react to removal of cardboard-recycling bins in Kincardine

To the Editor:
RE: "Kincardine removes cardboard-recycling bins beside Beef Way"

Why not put them at the Kincardine site on Bruce Avenue? That's a great area and in town!

To the Editor:

What about relocating them to the municipal office?

To the Editor:

Again, a few idiots can ruin a good thing for the many.

Thanks for nothing to those who created this mess.  I’m sure that they could care less for the rest of us.

To the Editor:

I drive by this area every day on my way to work and never have noticed it being this bad.

Honestly, how often do they clean out these bins? Do they leave them for a month until it looks like that?

What exactly do we pay taxes for? We pay for garbage pick-up - property taxes are ridiculous - the municipality nickels-and-dimes us on everything.

Has anyone even seen the street sweepers yet? South Bruce has had its streets cleaned up already from winter debris and all the dirt off the roads more than once already, so why hasn’t Kincardine done anything about our streets?

Again, what exactly do we pay taxes for?
