“The Train Station" by Nova Scotian folk artist Maud Lewis, is the next print in the South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary's Art/Easel Program fund-raiser, on display at Sobeys Kincardine.
This print would depict a typical scene at any small town train station at that time as the people are dressed in period clothing and the train has its cloud of black smoke overhead. Lewis used bright colours in her paintings, and her subjects were often outdoor scenes including flowers or animals.
The second print at Sobeys is entitled, "Taylor Swift Playing Guitar." This is a fully-licensed print featuring Swift performing during her "Fearless" set, live at one of her "Eras" tour concerts. A silver LP is also visible in this collectible print.
The print at the Kincardine Hospital is entitled, “Lake and Mountains" by Group of Seven artist Lawren Harris.
The print at Rona Kincardine is entitled, “Route 66 Historic Highway Museum."
The print at Boston Pizza in Kincardine is entitled, "Living on the Edge" by Jeff Stephenson.
The print at Canadian Tire in Kincardine is entitled, "Black Sabbath."
The starting bid for each print is $215, and they are on display until Thursday, Oct. 22.
