Huron County OPP auxiliary holds successful Operation Full Plate events

(GODERICH/SOUTH HURON, ON) - Members of the Huron County OPP auxiliary held successful Operation Full Plate events in Goderich and Exeter, collecting items and cash donations for the those in need of support in local communities.

Saturday, Oct. 3, OPP auxiliary officers across the Province of Ontario held these food drives in their communities. The Huron County locations were the Goderich Zehrs and Hansen's Independent Grocers in Exeter.

OPP vehicles were filled to the brim with a whopping 2,500 pounds of non-perishable food donations, and $1,950 in cash donations!

All donations went to the Huron County Food Bank to be distributed locally.

A big thank you to everyone who supported this great community event!
