(SAUGEEN SHORES, ON) - A resident of Mississauga has been charged, following a traffic complaint at MacGregor Point Provincial Park, southwest of Port Elgin.
Sept. 28, just after 4:40 p.m., South Bruce OPP officers responded to the incident at the park on Bruce County Road 33. While officers were investigating, signs of impairment were observed, and the driver was placed under arrest.
Vishal KULKARNI, 45, of Mississauga has been charged with:
Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
Drive vehicle or boat with cannabis readily available
The accused was released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Walkerton, Nov. 4.
The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused's driver's licence was suspended for a period of 90 days.
