(HURON-KINLOSS, ON) - Aug. 29, at 4:41 a.m., South Bruce OPP officers were patrolling the Township of Huron-Kinloss when they conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle. During the interaction, officers observed signs of impairment with the driver and placed the individual under arrest.
A 17-year-old youth of St. Marys has been charged with:
Operation while impaired - alcohol and drugs
Operation while impaired - blood-alcohol concentration 80-plus
The accused was released from custody with a court date scheduled at the Ontario Court of Justice - Walkerton, Oct. 5.
The vehicle involved was towed and impounded for seven days, and the accused's driver's licence was suspended for a period of 90 days.
