Christena Irene "Chris" Moulton (nee Campbell) of Kincardine, died peacefully, with family by her side, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Aug. 6, 2026, in her 91st year.
Beloved wife of the late S. Wray Moulton.
Loving mother of Sandra Moulton (Gary), Linda Humphrey, Elaine Gossell (Danny) and Paul Moulton (Dawn).
Sadly missed by her grandchildren, Thomas Humphrey (Alison), Christy Humphrey, Danielle Gossell, Sara Finnie (Brandon), Lindsey Allen (Hayden), Justin Moulton, Jordan Moulton; and fondly remembered by her great-grandchildren, Sam, Andrew, Anna, Jaxson, Blake, Elliot and Lainey.
Survived by her sister, Ruth Siegel (Richard); and many nieces and nephews.
Predeceased by her grandson, Benjamin Gossell, in fancy; her brother, John Campbell; sisters- and brothers-in-law, Jean Catto (Nute), Agnes MacKinnon (George), Margaret Weber (Otto), Isabel Brindley (Ken), Betty Eskrick (Burton), Cecelia Kidd (John), Helen Shaw (Jim); her in-laws, Vera and Sam Moulton, Jim Moulton, Dorothy Moore (Leo), Margaret Harrison (Bill), Beverly Dunlop (Glen), Gloria Murray (Ab), and Larry Moulton.
Born March 24, 1936, in Kincardine, Chris was the daughter of the late M. Irene (nee Norman) and Duncan Campbell.
She was raised on the family farm, attended Kincardine High School and graduated from Stratford Teacher’s College in 1955. She taught Grades 1-8 in a one-room school at S.S No. 3 Wallace in Perth County until marrying Wray in 1960, farming and raising their children on the family farm in Greenock Township.
Chris and Wray moved to Kincardine in the mid 1970s where she returned to teaching and enjoyed her hobbies, such as reading, crosswords, puzzles, road trips and bowling.
Her family was always her main priority, and her life was enriched with the arrival of each new grandchild and great-grandchild. She was their biggest fan and cheerleader and spent many hours in arenas and sport fields, right up until her 90th birthday, which she celebrated this spring with several parties.
A life well lived, rest in peace, until we all meet again.
A family graveside service was held, with interment at Kincardine Cemetery.

The family thanks Dr. Gary Gurbin, Kelsey, and all the staff at the Kincardine Hospital for mom’s excellent health care over the years, especially in the past few months and her final days.
A huge thank you to all the staff at Tiverton Park Manor for making sure mom’s every need was met, caring for her like family, for loving her like your own. You truly made mom’s last few years as easy and fun as possible.
