The South Bruce Grey Health Centre - Kincardine Hospital Auxiliary has raised almost $3,000 through the annual Geranium Sale, held in the Garden Centre at Canadian Tire in Kincardine, May 8-12.
In spite of some days of unfavourable weather, there were 1,754 geranium plants sold and the bed-pan donations came to $949. John Satosek of Kincardine Canadian Tire generously topped up the sales total to $2,000 so this event raised $2,949.
The auxiliary sincerely thanks Satosek and his staff for assisting with the Geranium Sale again this year. Their support is greatly appreciated.
Thanks also to Cheryl Rogers for organizing this event and the auxiliary members for volunteering their time.
The auxiliary is fortunate to live in such a caring and supportive community. The funds raised this year will go toward purchasing an Automated CPR machine and a blanket warmer.
