Kincardine U15 Cardinals win silver at Reg Daze tournament

The Kincardine Under-15 (U15) Cardinals won the silver medal at the Reg Daze baseball tournament, held on the weekend, at Connaught Park in Kincardine.

The Cardinals went undefeated through round-robin action, defeating Cambridge, 19-4, and Halton Hills, 18-6, on Friday; and Owen Sound, 22-11, on Saturday.

The team advanced to the quarter-finals and downed Mitchell, 5-1, before moving on to the semi-finals, Sunday, where Kincardine defeated St. Thomas, 17-13.

The Cardinals then advanced to the finals, Sunday afternoon, against Tecumseh where they lost, 17-5, to take the silver medal.
