Kincardine U11 Cardinals win bronze at Rob Davidson tournament

The Kincardine Under-11 (U11) Cardinals made it to the semi-finals but lost to Listowel in the finals, at the Rob Davidson baseball tournament, held on the weekend at Connaught Park, Kincardine.

The team went undefeated through three round-robin games, downing St. Catharines, 9-8, Friday; Oshawa, 9-0, Saturday afternoon; and Waterloo, 10-8, Saturday evening.

The Cardinals advanced to the quarter-finals, Sunday, where they defeated North London, 6-1, making it to the semi-finals where they lost to Listowel, 11-9.

This put the team in the bronze-medal game, where the Cardinals edged the Saugeen Shores Sting, 11-10, for the win.
