Public invited to learn about Kincardine's Smart Beach Light during Beach Safety Week

As the Municipality of Kincardine recognizes National Drowning Prevention Week (July 19–25) and this year's theme, "Prepare to be Water Smart," residents and visitors are invited to learn more about staying safe at the beach by joining a free Smart Beach Light and Beach Safety information session, Tuesday, July 28, at 6 p.m., at the Station Beach Gazebo, 151 Station Beach Road.

Hosted by Meagan Fair of the Kincardine Beach Safety Group, this session will explain how the Smart Beach Light works, what each light colour means, and how to use it alongside other beach safety information to make informed decisions before heading into the water.

The rain date is Wednesday, July 29, at 6 p.m.

Learn more about the Smart Beach Light at Station Beach by visiting Smart Beach Light at Station Beach | Municipality of Kincardine.
