Crystal Denise Gaudreault of Tiverton died peacefully, June 5, 2026, at the London Health Sciences Centre. Under the compassionate care of Dr. Rahul Nayak and the Critical Care Trauma Centre (CCTC) team, she was treated with dignity and respect.
Survived by her husband, James Houle; her mother, Corinne; and her brother, Patrick Gaudreault.
Lovingly remembered by her grandmother, Denise MacIvor; her mother-in-law, Diane Houle (predeceased by Bob); her brother-in-law, Matt; her sister-in-law, Gisele (Tom); as well as her aunts, uncles, cousins, and many extended family members and friends.
Predeceased by her father, Marcel Gaudreault; her grandparents, Rose and Gloria Gaudreault; and her grandfather, Barry MacIvor.
Crystal graduated from the Graphic Design program at Cambrian College in Sudbury and later, returned to school to focus on program management. Her pursuit of her dream career eventually led her to work as a contractor with Tundra, supporting quality assurance and PMC. Always focused on her goals, she was steadily making her way into the field of program management.
She had many passions, especially her dog, Kirk; her cat, Archer; and her cat rescue family at Real Troopers Cat Rescue. She became a devoted part of the team, offering love and patience to every rescue she fostered.
An avid gamer, Crystal loved leading quests, growing farms, building cities, and constantly learning something new. She also loved gardening, growing plants from seed, working on tiny 3D puzzles, spending time outdoors, and kayaking on the Saugeen River.
In keeping with Crystal’s spirit, a Celebration of Life will be held July 27, 2026, from 12-8 p.m., at the Lions Hall in Tiverton.
As expressions of sympathy, donations to Real Troopers Cat Rescue would be appreciated by the family. Donations and condolences may be made on-line at www.daveylinklaterfuneralhome.com.
Crystal is now with her father, and together they are “Gone Fishing.”
