Two Canadians who disembarked MV Hondius last month, reside in Bruce-Grey
Grey Bruce Public Health has confirmed that the two Canadians who disembarked the MV Hondius in late April, reside within Brucce-Grey.

That's the word from acting medical officer of health Dr. Brittany Graham, in a press release, issued Friday.

The individuals are well and are not experiencing any symptoms of illness, states the release. They are isolating within the same household in Bruce-Grey and are being actively supported and monitored by public health for the period of time required to ensure public safety.

Public health is checking in with the individuals on a daily basis to confirm their health status and ensuring their ability to maintain appropriate isolation. Protocols are in place to connect the individuals with health care in the event that it is needed.

As always, further information will not be shared about the individuals to protect their privacy and confidentiality.

Because the individuals are asymptomatic, in isolation, and following all public health guidance and advice, the risk to the community remains extremely low, states the release.
