Ribbon-cutting set for May 7 at newly-renovated Sobeys store in Kincardine
The Sobeys store in Kincardine has been fully renovated, and owner Tania Konigshofer and her staff are excited for the grand re-opening and ribbon-cutting, Thursday, May 7, at 7:30 a.m.
Konigshofer of Kincardine took over the franchise last summer and her goal has been to make sure the customers have the best shopping experience when they come to Sobeys Kincardine.
To that end, the store has been completely renovated to provide a full-service shopping experience at this locally-owned and locally-operated business.
Following the ribbon-cutting, the doors will be open to the public at 8 a.m. and everyone is welcome to stop by the celebration, with free $10 gift cards for the first 300 customers, live music, samples and special offers.
As part of the ceremony, Konigshofer will be making donations to the Kincardine Food Bank, and to Big Brothers and Big Sisters of South Bruce North Huron.
The Sobeys Kincardine store is located at 814 Durham Street, east of Highway 21. It is open 7 a.m. to 9 p.m., seven days per week. For more information, call 519-395-0022 or visit
