Kincardine human-trafficking awareness event a success
(KINCARDINE, ON) - March 4, the South Bruce OPP, in partnership with the Grey Bruce Community Safety and Well-Being Plan, hosted a human-trafficking awareness community town hall event at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine.
to residents across Grey-Bruce for more than 15 years. Her dedication to this important work is evident through the depth of knowledge and insight she shares with the community.
The presentation focused on educating the public to recognize the signs of human-trafficking, increasing awareness, and supporting victims. Human-trafficking is often hidden in plain sight, and community education plays a critical role in prevention efforts and victim safety.
The OPP appreciates Bridging Gaps AHT, Rising Angels, and all the community partners who attended and helped make this event a success.
Members of the public are encouraged to attend the next human-trafficking awareness community town hall event, set for Wednesday, March 11, from 6:30-9 p.m. (doors open at 6 p.m.), at the Walkerton Arena, 290 Durham Street, Walkerton.
