Lucknow's Music in the Fields among Top 100 festivals for fourth year in a row
Lucknow’s Music in the Fields has been named among the Top 100 festivals and events in Ontario for the fourth year in a row.
The list of 2026 honourees was announced Feb. 25 as part of Festivals and Events Ontario’s “SUSTAIN” Conference in Kitchener.
“We’re incredibly honoured that Music in the Fields has once again been recognized as one of the
Top 100 Festivals and Events in Ontario," said co-chairman Rick McMurray, a member of the Lucknow and District Kinsmen Club which puts on the annual three-day country festival at the Graceland event grounds, east of Lucknow.
“This recognition is a testament to the passion of our volunteers, the loyalty of our fans, and the generous support of our sponsors and community partners. Hosting this event each year in Lucknow is something we’re deeply proud of, and we remain committed to delivering an unforgettable festival experience that showcases great music while also supporting our local community and various charitable causes.”
The 2026 edition of Music in the Fields runs Aug. 27-29, with an artist line-up, including Texan chart-topper Koe Wetzel, Canadian rock titans Finger Eleven and Headstones, and award-winning star Elle King.
The festival comprises high-impact musical performances across multiple stages, on-site camping, family-friendly games and activities, food and craft beverage vendors, and more, with 100 per cent of the proceeds supporting community and charitable initiatives.
Festivals and Events Ontario is a non-profit organization that has been representing the festivals
and events industry in the province for nearly four decades. It assists communities in producing
unique, quality events by providing education, professional development, and networking
