South Bruce OPP report two impaired drivers charged

GOOD SAMARITANS REPORT IMPAIRED DRIVER

(MILDMAY, ON) - Feb. 25, the South Bruce OPP responded to the report of a possible impaired driver at a business on Highway 9 in the Town of Mildmay.

While officers were en route, police received a second call about the same vehicle which was now located on Peter Street South. The driver, subsequently, fled on foot after colliding with a snowbank but was later taken into custody, without incident.

As a result, Thomas FINDLAY, 56, of Mildmay has been charged with the following Criminal Code offence: Operation while Impaired - alcohol and drugs.

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Walkerton, April 8.

CONCERNED CITIZEN REPORTS IMPAIRED DRIVER

(TEESWATER, ON) - Feb. 26, at approximately 8:20 a.m., the South Bruce OPP responded to the report of a possible impaired driver on Clinton Street, in the Village of Teeswater.

As a result, officers located the vehicle and, subsequently, took the driver into custody, without incident.

As a result, police charged Ronald WARD, 42, of Wingham with the following offences:
 

• Operation while Impaired - alcohol or drugs
• Possession of Methamphetamine

The accused is scheduled to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice, Walkerton, April 8.
