Practical training to make a meaningful difference at Huron Shores Hospice
Compassionate, high-quality care is at the heart of everything done at Huron Shores Hospice.
The medical team, support staff, comfort care volunteers, and all members of the community contribute to making the hospice feel like home for individuals facing end-of-life and their families.
The upcoming in-person Fundamentals of Hospice Palliative Care training is a unique opportunity to learn about the principles and practices of caring for someone at end-of-life. You’ll gain practical knowledge, hands-on skills, and the confidence to provide compassionate support, whether you’re a health-care professional, an experienced volunteer, or exploring how to get involved for the first time.
If you’ve been curious about hospice and palliative care or joining the team but you weren’t sure where to start, this training is the perfect first step.
