​Knox Church Kincardine hosting Great Canadian Hot Stew and a Bun Lunch

Knox Presbyterian Church, Kincardine, is hosting another community lunch, Friday April 4, from Noon to 2 p.m., at the church, located at 345 Durham Street, Kincardine.

This time, it’s the hearty Great Canadian Hot Stew and a Bun Lunch, with dessert, tea, coffee and lots of opportunity for warm and cordial fellowship. Everyone is invited and freewill donations  are welcomed.

At the lunch, as part of its commitment to community service, Knox Kincardine will be presenting a donation of $2,500 to the United Way of Bruce Grey’s Backpack Program, represented by executive director Francesca Dobbyn and fund-raising champion Kristy Andre.

In 2024, this program provided 178 fully-stocked backpacks to Kincardine-area students from families needing income support.
