More than 100 families helped through Kincardine Children’s Christmas Campaign
To The Editor:

Christmas is a time to celebrate and be thankful for the many gifts we receive. Gifts of kindness, care and help. This note is to express our thanks to the community.

The Christmas season was a little brighter for 105 families, representing 415 children and their parents or guardians. Each family received gift cards to local retailers and grocers. Through a partnership with the Kincardine Food Bank, additional food gift cards were given to 129 individual adults.

The Kincardine Children’s Christmas Campaign is thankful for the generous donations received from individuals, businesses and organizations; thankful for the time the many volunteers gave to tackle the long list of tasks to prepare and deliver the gift-card envelopes for families; and thankful for the many volunteers at the food bank.

The fill-the-truck efforts of our first-responders and other agencies and businesses, delivered piles of much-needed groceries to restock the food bank, especially at this time of year.

The spirit of Christmas shines again throughout the community.

Co-chairpersons,
