Two impaired drivers nabbed at RIDE checkpoints
                            
                            
							RIDE CHECK RESULTS IN CHARGES
(KINCARDINE, ON) - Dec. 6, at 11:14 p.m., the South Bruce OPP was conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) check on Broadway in Kincardine.
During the operation, a vehicle was stopped and checked by police.
As a result of the investigation, Kory BROWN, 31, of Kincardine, has been charged with Operation while Impaired (80-plus), CC 320.14(1)(b).
The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Court of Justice, Jan. 15, 2025.
FESTIVE RIDE CHECK LEADS TO IMPAIRED DRIVING CHARGE
(ARRAN-ELDERSLIE, ON) - Dec. 7, at approximately 1:30 p.m., the South Bruce OPP was conducting a Reduce Impaired Driving Everywhere (RIDE) check on Queen Street North, Municipality of Arran-Elderslie.
During the operation, a vehicle was stopped and checked by police.
As a result of the investigation, Brian GEMBUS, 51, of Arran-Elderslie, has been charged with Operation while Impaired (80-plus), CC 320.14(1)(b).
The accused is set to appear at the Walkerton Court of Justice, Jan. 15, 2025.
