​Colin Humphrey of Walkerton dies at the age of 49

Colin Hubert Robert Humphrey of Walkerton, died suddenly at home, Tuesday, Oct. 8, 2024, at the age of 49.

Beloved husband of Patricia Kears-Humphrey.

Loving and proud father of Jordan, Mitchel, Nikolas, and Kanzyss.

Best brother of Jason and Jodi Humphrey (Josh and Jayla) and Angela Humphrey (Zoie).

Cherished by all his brothers- and sisters-in-law, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

Predeceased by his daughter, Raichel; parents, Doug and Wendy Humphrey; grandparents, Harold and Betty Humphrey, and Bert and Una Hodder; nephew, Michael Brewer; brothers-in-law, Yves Noel and Cecil Blanchard; and sister-in-law, Jacqueline Elliman.

Colin was passionate about music, learning and life! He was the person everybody could count on for a helping hand through his vast knowledge. Whether it be automotive, electronics, cooking or carpentry, he knew absolutely everything, and if he didn’t, he would spend hours on end researching it to solve any problem.

He was the ultimate family man! His family was his world. Colin will be greatly missed by his family and friends, and all those who were fortunate to know and love him.

Family will receive friends at the Davey-Linklater Funeral Home, 757 Princes Street, Kincardine, Monday, Oct. 14, 2024, from 2-4 p.m. and 7-9 p.m.

The memorial service will be held at the funeral home, Tuesday, Oct. 15, 2024, at 11 a.m., with celebrant Ann Maycock officiating

The family invites you to join them for a reception, following the funeral, at the Royal Canadian Legion, Branch 183, 219 Lambton Street, Kincardine.

Memorial donations to the Heart and Stroke Foundation would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy, if desired.
