Crowd turns out for open house into Victoria Park hybrid concept
A good crowd of people turned out for the come-and-go open house regarding a hybrid concept for Victoria Park in downtown Kincardine.
Held Tuesday night (Oct. 1), in the Miller Insurance Room at the Davidson Centre, the event was hosted by the Municipality of Kincardine and its consultant on the project, pl.ural.
Sean Kelly of pl.ural said the new hybrid concept for the park came from the proposals presented in June, combined with the feedback from the public consultation with reference to those initial concepts.
He said the company will take comments from Tuesday night’s open house, and on-line, until Monday, Oct. 7, and draw up a final concept to present to Kincardine council likely in December.
For those who were unable to attend the open house Tuesday night, you can visit
www.kincardine.ca/VictoriaPark to view the information panels that were presented. If you wish to comment on the hybrid concept, you have until noon, Oct. 7, to make those comments at:
