Nancy Christine McNamee (née Hoffman) of Kincardine, died peacefully, with family by her side, at the South Bruce Grey Health Centre, Kincardine, Tuesday, Oct. 1, 2024, at the age of 71.
Beloved wife of James “Jimmy” McNamee.
Loving mother of John Ross of Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta; and Jenn Verbonac (Ron) of Spruce Grove, Alberta; and step-mother of Elizabeth Kuhn (Dave) of Barrie, and Scott McNamee of Orillia.
Proud and cherished grandmother of Mathew, Jacob, Megan, Harlan, Julianna, Alex, Hailey, Olivia and Christien; and great-grandmother of Isabelle and Oliver.
Survived by her mother, Jacqueline Swift (née LeBlanc); sisters, Patricia Farmer (Charlie) of Inverhuron, and Rosemarie Hoffman (Herb) of Edmonton, Alberta; and brother, Tim Hoffman (Phil) of Kitchener.
Fondly remembered by nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
Predeceased by her father, Ron Hoffman.
Nancy loved animals and spent time working at a veterinary clinic, a job she enjoyed very much. She had a big heart and always helped those who were in need. She will be missed by all who knew and loved her.
As per Nancy’s wishes, a celebration of life will be held at a later date.
Memorial donations to the Canadian Cancer Society would be appreciated as expressions of sympathy.
