Canadian talent shines Saturday at Music in the Fields
It may have been overcast Saturday afternoon, but the talented Canadian bands were shining as they rocked the stage at the seventh annual Lucknow's Music in the Fields.
First off, was Livy Jeanne with her young, sweet voice, followed by the down-home country tunes of Cold Creek County, the soulful Autumn Hill and the vibrant tones of Chad Brownlee.
They were not only entertaining on stage, but equally as fun as they greeted their fans after their performance.
American country artist Easton Corbin put on a good show, and then headliner The Band Perry erupted on stage with a loud, abrasive sound that was more rock than country. Apparently, the group was enjoyed by what remained of the crowd. [At the request of The Band Perry, the media was not permitted to take photos at the show.]
Also performing, on the emerging artist stage, were Vanessa Marie Carter, 25, of Oakville, who has been singing professionally for six years, with a band for three years, and opened for Brett Kissel; and Eric Ethridge.
