Bruce Telecom installing fibre-optic service in Kincardine

Workers with Pickard Construction of Owen Sound have been busy, installing fibre-optic cable throughout the Town of Kincardine this week.

Thursday, they were on Kennard Crescent, running pipe along the road allowance and then installing the cable in the trench left by the pipe.

Meanwhile, HuronTel is also installing its own fibre-optic facilities in town, adding Kincardine to its growing list of Smart Rural Communities. Based in Ripley, Goderich and Wingham, HuronTel now has an office in Kincardine.
