The Bruce County Public Library - Kincardine Branch and The Reading Network are hosting a meeting on the topic “Helping Your Child Become a Better Reader,” Tuesday, Aug. 18, at the Kincardine branch (727 Queen St., Kincardine) from 6:30 - 8 p.m. Agenda includes developing strong readers, signs of reading problems, and demonstration of on-line reading intervention services. Everyone welcome.
Tiverton Park Manor will be hosting its annual Cruise Night, Wednesday, Aug. 19, at 5 p.m. There will be music, a barbecue and prizes. Shine them up and show them off! All car enthusiasts with their favourite vehicles, any year, any make, can come out to display their pride and joy.
