The Kincardine Bulldogs of the Provincial Junior Hockey League, were finally back on the ice Wednesday night, after the COVID-19 (Coronavirus) pandemic sidelined them at the end of the 2019-20 season, as well as the 2020-21 season.
The ‘Dogs took on the Goderich Flyers at the Davidson Centre in Kincardine, and sent them home with an 8-1 loss. Given that it was exhibition hockey action, the game was fairly chippy.

Assists went to Kent Ribey (2), Peyton Howald (2), Jerrid Fossold, Jordan Beisel, Hagen, Swann and Jeremy Davidson.
The Bulldogs’ home opener is set for Friday, Oct. 1, against the Mitchell Hawks. Game time is 8:30 p.m.
